According to the latest update from the American Academy of Pediatrics has been showing that, over 53,000 corona virus cases of children had been reported in the previous week, which has been an increase of around 61 percent from the past two weeks.
This has been third consecutive week of the increase in the corona virus cases in children and the since the beginning of the novel corona virus pandemic, around 13 million children in the United States have had corona virus along with 5 million of those infections that are occurring in the year 2022.
In the past week, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, which has published the new data that has been showing that around 75 percent of the United States children under the age of 18 years are having the antibodies indicative of a past corona virus infection and around 30 percent of those corona virus infection has occurred during the rapid spread of Omicron covid-19 variant.
The United States of America has recorded 81,644 new corona virus cases and 266 deaths related to the virus and according to the corona virus tracker, the 7-day average of the new daily corona virus cases has been 60,953 along with 331 daily corona virus deaths and in total, the country has now tracked 81,479,439 covid-19 cases including 994,236 deaths across the United States.
