US Government Withdraws Mandatory Covid-19 Vaccination and Testing For Businesses

The administration of Joe Biden, president of the United States is now withdrawing the regulation of the covid-19 vaccination and testing that has been aimed at the large businesses, and it has also been followed by the decision of the Supreme Court for blocking the rule previously this month.

The Occupational Safety and Health Administration of the Department of Labor of the US said that, it is going to be withdrawing the covid-19 testing and vaccination emergency temporary standard for the businesses along with one hundred or more employees in the businesses.

According to a statement, even though OSHA has been withdrawing the corona virus vaccination and testing as an temporary standards of emergency, and the agency is not going to be withdrawing the emergency temporary standards as proposed rule, and the agency has also been prioritizing the resources for the purpose of focusing on the finalization of a permanent corona virus healthcare standard.

A spokesperson of the US Department of Labor said that, the withdrawal of the emergency temporary standard does not affect the continuous status of the emergency temporary standard as a proposed rule.

The spokesperson also said that, the OSHA has also been evaluating the record and this evolving course of the novel corona virus pandemic, and the agency has not made any determinations regarding when it is going to be finalizing a vaccination or testing rule across the United States.
