On Tuesday, 5th April 2022, the government of the United States said, it is going to be sending 100 million dollars in the additional anti-armor weapons to Ukraine. Blinken said that, he has now authorized and the pursuant to a delegation from the president of the United States, and the immediate drawdown of the security assistance that has been valued at around 100 million dollars for the purpose of meeting the urgent need of Ukraine for the additional anti-armor systems.
He also said that, the world has also been shocked and has been appalling by the atrocities that has been committed by the armed forces of Russia in the region of Bucha and also across the country of Ukraine.
John Kirby, spokesman of Pentagon said that, the extra funding is going to be used for the purpose of meeting an urgent need of Ukraine for the additional anti-armor systems, and the people of Ukraine have also been using the missiles launched by the shoulder so effectively for the purpose of defending their country.
On 1st April 2022, the pentagon of the United States has announced an extra funding of 300 million dollars in the military assistance. Kirby also said that, the latest trance has brought the military of the United States aid to Ukraine for more than 1.7 billion dollars since the beginning of the premeditated and unprovoked invasion of Russia on 24th February 2022 and over 2.4 billion dollars since the beginning of the term of Joe Biden in the Office.
