UK registers Over 200,000 New Covid-19 Cases in Past 24 Hours

The caseload of the novel corona virus in the United Kingdom has crossed 200,000 for the first time since the beginning of the novel corona virus pandemic as the hospitals has come under the growing pressure because of the shortages of the healthcare staff.

On Tuesday, 4th January 2021, the government of the United Kingdom has registered 218,724 new corona virus infections in the past 24 hours, which has been the highest daily increase after the novel corona virus pandemic begins in 2020.

With this, the total number of the corona virus cases in the United Kingdom has now reached 13,641,520 cases, and in spite of the increasing numbers of the cases, Boris Johnson, prime minister of the United Kingdom has also expressed his optimism, which the country is going to be able to tackle the current wave of the covid-19 without imposing more strict limitations.

The prime minister of the United Kingdom has also announced that, there had been a very good possibility that, he is not going to be implementing any further more tough restriction and he is going to be advising the ministers for continuing the Plan B policy of the administration in the United Kingdom.

Boris Johnson has also declared that 100,000 healthcare staff is going to be subjected to the daily examinations and for the purpose of preventing the novel corona virus from spreading to the fellow co-workers, a covid-19 testing program is also going to start on 10th January 2022 for the essential services in the United Kingdom.
