On Sunday, 6th February 2022, according to the data from the government of the United Kingdom, the country has recorded 54,095 new confirmed cases of the novel corona virus and 75 corona virus related deaths, and the figures gathered on 6th February 2022, has been representing a decline from the cases recorded on 5th February 2022, which were 60,578 along with 259 covid-19 related deaths.
Theses figure have also been lesser than the cases that have been recorded in the previous week, which were 69,007 new covid-19 cases along with 91 covid-19 related deaths. In total, more than 17.7 million people in the United Kingdom have been testing positive for the novel corona virus since the beginning of the novel corona virus pandemic and more than 158,000 people have been died due to the virus.
Meanwhile, around 13,929 people in the United Kingdom have received the first and second dose of the novel corona virus vaccine, which has been responsible for taking the total to 52,427,710 people across the United Kingdom and 37,529,824 people in the country has now received a third dose of the novel corona virus vaccine in the country.
Dr. Hans Kluge, director of the World Health Organization (WHO) for Europe said that, the region had been entering the endgame of the novel corona virus pandemic, and the continent of Europe should continue for preserving the immunity through the process of vaccinating the people in the region from the novel corona virus pandemic.
