Wipro announced that, it has acquired Convergence Acceleration Solutions (CAS Group), a consulting and programme management company based in the United States in a cash deal of 50 million dollars. The CAS Group, which is specialized in driving the technology transformation and large-scale business for the Fortune 100 communications service providers, which has be reported a revenue of 28 million dollars during the year 2021 and is also employing 145 people.
Wipro said that, in a regulatory filing that, the transaction is going to be completed before 12th April 2022. The deep-rooted client relationships and the strong domain expertise of CAS Group, which is combined with the execution capabilities of Wipro is going to be delivering an end-to-end professional services solution and an immediate impact to the clients.
The joint entity is going to be providing the clients along with the services that is ranging from the strategy development and the planning to the implementation and execution. Philippe Dintrans, senior vice president & global head, domain & consulting at Wipro said, the CAS Group is now bringing to Wipro, a uniquely complementary set of the capabilities.
He also said that, the long-standing strategic partnership of the company with some of the biggest communications service providers, that has been combine with the deep expertise in the projects of the large scale transformation, and this will allow them for achieving a significant competitive advantage in the highest growing industry.
