Volvo Launched First Used Car Sales Platform in UK

The car producing company ‘Volvo’ said that, the company has now taken a lead in the motoring industry by the launch of a new online sales platform for the online approved used cars, which has been the first kind of a programme from an automobile company in the United Kingdom.

This new service, which is called as the Volvo Cars Selekt Direct, has been offering a complete end-to-end car purchasing service for the pre-owned vehicles that has been designed for the speed, ease and also the pricing transparency.

The platform has been the latest step in the ambitious strategy of the company ‘Volvo’ for the purpose of ramping up the online sales operations of the company, and by the year 2025, the company is also wanting most of its sales in the United Kingdom to come from online, and the company is also expecting that, all the new cars of Volvo is going to be sold digitally by the year 2030.

The company has already committed for selling the electric cars exclusively through the company’s online channels other than at the conventional dealerships, and according to a survey of around 1030 premium car purchasers that has been conducted by Volvo, and one in four people has found the concept of the D2C used car sales online had been very appealing.

The company is also going to be offering 12 months of the roadside assistance and it will be providing a comprehensive warranty along with all the repairs and servicing that has been handled by the retail network of the company.
