US: Voyager Space Acquires Propulsion Firm ‘Valley Tech Systems’

On 4th October 2021, Voyager Space announced the acquisition of Valley Tech Systems, a company that has successfully developed the solid-fuelled propulsion for the missiles of long-range, along with the geolocation technologies and signal processing for the military of the United States.

This announcement has been the latest in a series of acquisitions by the company Voyager Space based in Denver, which is having a global goal of becoming a vertically integrated company for space exploration, and the company Voyager said that, the acquisition of the Valley Tech Systems is going to be adding the important technologies to the portfolio of the company.

Dylan Taylor, CEO of Voyager Space said, the controllable signal intelligence and solid propulsion technologies of the Valley Tech Systems can be very helpful in solving the main points for the space missions along with creating a safe and much affordable space ecosystem.

The Valley Tech System has also been holding multiple contracts of Small Business Innovation Research starting from the Missile Defense Agency, The US Air Force, the US Army and NASA for the reaction control systems and also the next-generation propulsion along with active thruster nozzles.

The company has also been developing a subsystem of solid propulsion for the Next Generation Interceptor missile of Lockheed Martin for the Missile Defense Agency of the United States, and the Valley Tech Systems is also going to be providing a booster rocket roll control subsystem for the purpose of helping in the process of stabilizing the flight trajectory of NGI missile.
