US to Keep Travel Restrictions Over Concerns of Delta Covid-19 Variant

Because of the worries about continuously increasing infection rate cause by the Delta variant of the novel corona virus, the government of the United States have issued a notification on 26th July 2021, that it is going to be keeping the already existing novel corona virus restrictions on the international travel in place for the coming period.

It has been one of the latest signs that, the government of the United States of America is going to think again for the approach it has made to the novel corona virus pandemic as the more contagious versions of the virus spreads across the United States.

Jen Psaki, press secretary of the White House said, the travel restrictions of United States are going to continue for now, and she also said, as it had been driven by the Delta variant of the novel corona virus, the cases in the country are increasing rapidly more particularly among the people, those who have now received the corona virus vaccine and it seems that, it will continue for several weeks.

The growing number of the novel corona virus cases in the United States have also been responsible in causing the administration of Joe Biden for taking a close look at the mask wearing policies, and on Monday, 26th July 2021, the Department of Veterans Affairs of the United States have become the first major federal agency of the country to require the corona virus vaccines for their health care workers.
