US to Donate 80 Vials of Pfizer Covid-19 Vaccine to Trinidad and Tobago

The US Embassy in the region of Trinidad and Tobago has attracted the online mockery after making the announcement that, the United States has donated 80 vials of the novel corona virus vaccine to the island country of 1.4 million people, and in a tweet, which was posted on Sunday, 13th June 2021, the donation of the Pfizer corona virus vaccine had been announced saying that, every vaccine counts.

A single vial of the Pfizer corona virus vaccine produces five doses of the vaccine, and it is also administered in two jabs of 21 days apart, which means that, the donation of Pfizer corona virus vaccines from US to Trinidad and Tobago will yield around 400 corona virus vaccine shots and can possibly inoculate 200 people.

The statement from the US Embassy says, the government of the United States of America has donated the corona virus vaccines developed by Pfizer to the government of Trinidad and Tobago, and the donation is including 80 vials of the Pfizer corona virus vaccines. The government of the United States of America has always been committed to provide assistance to the government of Trinidad and Tobago with the help of its corona virus vaccination efforts, and they believe that every vaccination counts.

With a population of 1.4 million people, the country of Trinidad and Tobago has been relying on the donations made by the foreign countries for completing the country’s immunization program, and under the COVAX vaccine sharing program of the World Health Organization (WHO), 100,800 doses of corona virus vaccines had been allocated to Trinidad and Tobago.
