US to Donate 1-Million Pfizer Covid-19 Vaccine Doses to Paraguay

On Monday, 29th June 2021, the government of United States of America said, it is going to be donating one million doses of the novel corona virus vaccine produced by the companies Pfizer and BioNTech to the country ‘Paraguay’, which are going to be offered as a relief to the country in the region of South America.

The immunization program of Paraguay has been slowly amid a new wave of the novel corona virus cases. Victoria Nuland, official of State Department, during an official visit to Asuncion, Paraguay, that the corona virus vaccines should be arriving in the country in the coming weeks.

Victoria Nuland said, they are going to be donating one-million novel corona virus vaccine doses to Paraguay, while pledging help from the US government for accelerating the delivery of the covid-19 doses through the global program of sharing COVAX vaccine.

Joe Biden, President of the United States of America said, the United States is going to be the arsenal of the novel corona virus vaccines in their fight against the novel corona virus, and Victoria Nuland had met with Mario Abdo, President of Paraguay in Asuncion and they have also spoked with the local media.

The health ministry of Paraguay said, 665,117 people in the country have now received at least one dose of the novel corona virus vaccine dose so far, which has been the part of the donation of the one million novel corona virus vaccine doses developed by Pfizer and BioNTech from the overall pledge of the United States for donating 80 million vaccine shots.
