According to a report, the US Soccer has included Jose Mourinho on its list of potential head coaches for the United States Men’s National Team. Zinedine Zidane was also reportedly included on that list by the federation, but the Frenchman politely declined the opportunity.

Anthony Hudson is currently serving as the team’s interim head coach, according to US Soccer. US Soccer might look into hiring a new coach who doesn’t have any ties to the US to make things better. That list of potential candidates for that position for US Soccer includes Jose Mourinho. The current manager of AS Roma has stated his desire to lead a national team.

He wants to feel the excitement of a short competition and have the experience of a World Cup and European Championship. The native language of Portugal is familiar with the difficulties of coaching for one’s home nation despite having ties to that nation.
