US Officials: Fully Vaccinated People Do Not Need Booster Dose of Pfizer Vaccine

On Monday, 12th July 2021, a spokesperson for the US Health and Human Services Department (HHS) said, after the meeting with Pfizer, US Pharmaceutical company, the health officials of United States said, the people of US, who have been fully vaccinated does not need to get or receive a booter corona virus vaccine shot.

Last week, Pfizer said, it has been planning to aske the healthcare regulators of United States for authorizing a booster covid-19 vaccine dose of the company’s corona virus vaccine, that has been based on the evidence of the high risk of being affected by covid-19 for six months after the vaccination along with the spread of the Delta Covid-19 variant.

The spokesperson said, the officials of HHS of US had a briefing from the company Pfizer on the company’s latest and preliminary data on the novel corona virus vaccinations and it is going to be continuing to discuss when the booster covid-19 vaccine shots are going to be needed in the future.

Both Pfizer and the government of United States have been sharing a sense of urgency in staying ahead of the novel corona virus, and they are also agreeing that, the scientific data is going to be giving the next steps in the regulatory process that they have always been following.

On Monday, 12th July 2021, the World Health Organization (WHO) said, the rich countries should not make any orders for the booster covid-19 vaccine booster shots for the fully vaccinated people of those countries as several other countries across the world have yet to receive the novel corona virus vaccines.
