Eric Feigl-Ding, an American Scientist and Health Expert said, the novel corona virus vaccine developed by the company AstraZeneca might be having limited effectiveness against the Delta Variant of the novel corona virus. According to a study, Eric Feigl-Ding said, the efficacy of the novel corona virus developed by AstraZeneca against the Delta covid-19 variant is not 90 percent, but it is 60 percent, and covid-19 vaccine developed by Pfizer is 88 percent in a non-trial study.

Although, one of any of the two covid-19 vaccines are just 33 percent effective, and Eric Feigl-Ding also said, in spite of the high vaccination coverage in the United Kingdom, the United States and several of the countries in Europe, the Delta variant of the novel corona virus has been spreading at rapid speed in a fresh new wave of the novel corona virus pandemic.

Eric Feigl-Ding have warned the people that, they should take the Delta Variant of the novel corona virus seriously, and this variant has also been the fastest transmitting till date, and it is also having some evasion of the corona virus vaccine, specifically one dose of the vaccine, and it has also been much more severe in case of the hospitalizations.

The findings of Eric Feigl have been responsible in reviving the concerns over the protection of the people against the dominant Delta variant and the newly identified Delta Plus variants of the novel corona virus, and the lower number of the corona virus vaccine coverage and lesser number of people affected by the corona virus had made the country more vulnerable to the new and mutated variants of the novel corona virus vaccine.
