US Expected to Send Military Aid Worth $1-Billion To Ukraine

The government of the United States is expected to announce that, it is going to send around 1 billion dollars aid to Ukraine, which is the biggest single tranche of weapons and equipment since the war started and in an effort for helping Ukraine to stall Russia’s slow but steady march for conquering the eastern region of Donbas.

According to the US Officials, this aid is expected to include the anti-ship missile launchers, along with howitzers and more rounds for the High Mobility Artillery Rocket Systems that, the US forces have been training the army of Ukraine.

The aid has come as Lloyd Austin, defence secretary of the United States has convened a meeting in the European Union of over 45 countries for discussing the support for Ukraine and at the beginning of the meeting, he has also warned that, the western nations must step up the weapon deliveries to Ukraine and proving its commitment for helping the military fight of Ukraine along a front line of 1000 kilometres with Russia.

Lloyd Austin has also urged that, the participating countries for demonstrating their unwavering determination for getting Ukraine the capabilities that, the country need urgently for the purpose of defending itself.
