US CDC Gives New Information Regarding Mysterious Hepatitis In Children

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) of the United States are now continuing to investigate a mysterious outbreak of the hepatitis in the young children that has now taken five lives so far in the United States. The US CDC also said that, they are now looking at 109 cases across the 24 states and Puerto Rico, and the Health Security Agency of the United Kingdom has now reported at least 169 cases as of 3rd May 2022.

The World Health Organization (WHO) has also reported the cases in the multiple other countries, which is also including Israel, Spain, Denmark and Ireland among others. Dr. Jay Butler, deputy director of US CDC for the infectious diseases said that, these cases date to the month of October 2021.

Dr. Jay Butler also said that, fifteen days ago, as the US CDC has issued a nationwide health alert for the purpose of notifying the clinicians and public health authorities regarding an investigation involving the nine children in the region of Alabama that was identified between the month of October 2021 and February 2022 along with the hepatitis or the inflammation of the adenovirus and liver infection.

All the nine children in the region of Alabama has tested positive for the adenovirus, which has been a common virus that is typically causing the mild cold or flu like symptoms and also the intestinal problems.
