According to the analysis by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) of the United States, the risk of the cardiac complications or heart diseases had been significantly higher after the novel corona virus infection than after getting a mRNA vaccination that has been developed by Moderna or Pfizer against the novel corona virus.

The US CDC said, these findings, which had been for both males and females in all the age groups has supported the continuous use of the recommended mRNA covid-19 vaccines among all the eligible persons that are aged over 5 years.

The cardiac complications, which particularly includes the myocarditis, which has been an inflammation of the heart muscle and pericarditis responsible for irritation and swelling of the sickle and thin tissue surrounding the heart and also the multisystem inflammatory syndrome (MIS), which is a rare but serious complication of the novel corona virus infection along with the frequent cardiac involvement and is largely affecting the children and it is also associated with the corona virus infection and mRNA vaccination.

The investigators has used the HER (electronic health record) data of 15,215,178 persons that were above 5 years of age from the 40 healthcare systems in the United States for the purpose of calculating the incidences of all such outcomes of the cardiac disease among all the people.

The results also showed that, the incidence of the cardiac outcomes after the mRNA covid-19 vaccinations had been high for the boys in the age group of 12 to 17 years after the second dose of the vaccine.
