US Airline Group Warns, 5G Interference Can Linger For Years

A group that represent large cargo and passenger carriers of the United States said that, it is likely going to be taking years for permanently resolving the aircraft interference in the issues that has been caused by the rollout of the 5G wireless in the C-band.

Nick Calio, who has been leading the Airlines for the United States, is going to be telling a house transportation and subcommittee of the infrastructure in writing the testimony that the 5G issues that are facing the aviation industry should have been avoided.

According to the report, the process that has been leading to the operational nightmare should be presenting as a cautionary tale of the communication of the government and coordination have gone wrong as said by the testimony.

Nick Calio, whose group representing the United Airlines, FedEx, and American Airlines and several other large carriers added that, it is like going to be taking years, and not days or weeks for permanently and completely mitigating the issues of interference that has been caused by the deployment of the 5G network in the C-band.

The companies including AT&T and Verizon has also agreed for delaying the deployment of several of the wireless towers near the airports after the aviation industry and the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) has warned that, this 5G interference can possibly impact all of the sensitive electronics present in the aircraft such as the radio altimeters.
