United Kingdom Records 24,248 New Covid-19 Cases in Last 24 Hours


According to the daily government figures, United Kingdom has recorded another 24, 248 novel corona virus cases and 15 covid-19 related deaths in the last 24 hours as compared with the 24,855 covid-19 cases and 18deaths on Saturday, 1st July 2021.

Along with the continuous increasing covid-19 cases, another 137,389 people in the country have received the first dose of the novel corona virus vaccine and 196,209 people of the country have received their second dose of the corona virus vaccine jab, which in total means that, 45,274,497 people of UK have received at least one covid-19 vaccine dose and 33,614,953 are completely vaccinated in the country, and the total covid-19 related deaths in UK are standing at 128,222.

The covid-19 cases in UK have been increased rapidly over the last month, which had been driven by the Delta variant of the novel corona virus, and the average weekly tally on 1st June 2021 was just 4,147, but by 1st July 2021, the average weekly tally had been around 24,809 corona virus cases.

These covid-19 figures have been suggesting that, the corona virus vaccines have largely been able to break the chain between the corona virus, deaths and hospitalization, which has been a key measure in the aim of the government of United Kingdom for most of the remaining rules in the upcoming weeks.

Robert Jenrick, Housing Secretary of United Kingdom said, the success of the corona virus vaccination program in United Kingdom means that, the government of UK had been able to successfully think about how they can possibly return back to normal as soon as possible.
