The Pentagon said that, military of Ukraine has received the additional aircraft as well as the parts for the repairs for getting damaged aircraft flying again. Ukraine has defied the expectations of the allies and military experts by not only keeping the air force operational for around two months after the beginning of the invasion of Russia by actually repairing the aircraft and also adding to its inventory.
John Kirby, spokesman of Pentagon said, they did not offer the details on which, the countries have provided the aircraft, but he has acknowledged the new transfers and Ukraine also had more operable fighter aircraft than it had before two weeks.
John Kirby, they have now received additional aircraft parts for the purpose of helping them in getting more aircraft in the air, and he also said that, the government of the United States had not provided any aircraft to the military of Ukraine.
He also said that, they have certainly helped with the trans-shipment of some of the additional spare parts that, they have helped with the needs of their aircrafts but they have not transported the whole aircraft.
The United States has also announced the plans for transferring the helicopters made by Russia to Ukraine, which had once been intended for Afghanistan. More than 50 days into the war, the skies over Ukraine have been still contested in the parts due to the fleet of aircraft and air defences and aircraft of Ukraine including the portable and missiles provided by the United States and its allies.
