UK: Vodafone and EE to Revive European Data Roaming Charges

The travellers or holidaymakers in the United Kingdom are going to be facing the return of the roaming charges of the mobile data when they will be travelling through the continent of Europe in the new year 2022.

The networks of the company’s Vodafone and EE have been reintroducing the roaming charges for the customers of the companies starting from 1st January 2022 to 6th January 2022 respectively followed by the exit of the United Kingdom from the European Union, and the fourth largest network company known as ‘Three’ has also been planning to charge the customers of the company for using their data in the continent of Europe from the month of May 2022.

The company O2, which has been the biggest mobile network in the United Kingdom has been allowing the customers free roaming services in the European Union, and how soon the customers will now have to pay the extra charges, that is going to be costing 2 pounds a day for the customers of the company for accessing the mobile and data minutes, which they already pay for and it is also going to be depending on how the companies have signed their existing contract recently.

The mobile networks in the United Kingdom had also been forbidden from charging the roaming fees of the customers of the United Kingdom since the year 2017 under the new law of the European Union, but they are also resuming followed by the Brexit deal.
