UK Registers Highest Covid-19 Death Toll Since March 2021

According to the official figures, the government of United Kingdom has recorded another 174 deaths related to the novel corona virus in a single day since 12th March 2021, and the total number of deaths related to the novel corona virus in the United Kingdom is now standing at 131,854 and these figures are only including the deaths of the people, who had died in the country with 28 days of coming positive for the first time.

According to the reports, another 30,838 people in the United Kingdom have been tested positive for the novel corona virus, which has been responsible in bringing the total number of corona virus cases in the United Kingdom to 6,666,200.

Meanwhile on Tuesday, 24th August 2021, the data from the Office of the National Statistics (ONS) have been showing that, there had been 652 deaths related to the novel corona virus, which were registered in the United Kingdom during the week to 13th August 2021, which has been the highest number of deaths since 800 deaths have been recorded in the week as compared to the count of 26th March 2021.

This latest data comes as around 5,000 novel corona virus in the United Kingdom are now suspected for being linked to the events like surfing festival and Boardmasters music in the region of Conwell, along with the health officials of the country that are launching an investigation, and the study also showed that, more than 87 percent of the people more than 16 years of age in the United Kingdom have had their dose of the vaccine and over 77 percent of the people have been fully vaccinated.
