On Tuesday, 6th July 2021, according to the latest figures, the government of United Kingdom has recorded 28,773 new cases of the novel corona virus, which is the highest figure since January 2021, along with 37 covid-19 related deaths in the last 24 hours.

The news has come as Sajid Javid, health secretary of United Kingdom has warned that, they could possibly see more than 100,000 covid-19 cases per day as the novel corona virus lockdown restrictions are eased on 19th July 2021, along with the lifting of the covid-19 rules called as an experiment.

Professor Neil Ferguson, whose modelling that was responsible in leading the UK government for brining in the novel corona virus lockdown in 2020, have suggested that, around one in 1,000 people in the United Kingdom, who is affected by the novel corona virus is going to die going forward.

The health secretary of UK has rejected the suggestion of Neil Ferguson, that the government of United Kingdom is having an acceptable figure for the daily number of deaths, and it has not been about some number of the deaths, that are being accepted.

According to the data, the novel corona virus vaccines and the treatments have vastly been able to decrease the numbers of the corona virus related death, although the number of covid-19 cases are increasing in the country.

Professor Neil Ferguson said, if there are 50,000 novel corona virus cases recorded per day in the country, it is going to be translated to around 50 deaths, by considering the model of one death in 1,000 covid-19 cases.
