The MHRA of the United Kingdom has approved a new corona virus vaccine for use, and the vaccine is manufactured by Valneva by using a more traditional technology, which has been similar to how the polio and flu vaccine shots are produced.
The covid-19 vaccine of Valneva contains a whole copy of the novel corona virus, which has been inactivated so that, the vaccine cannot cause the disease but it does teach the body of the people how to fight with the corona virus. The United Kingdom had been due for receiving 100 million doses of the Valneva corona virus vaccines jab, but the government of the United Kingdom has cancelled the deal in September 2021 because of the breach of the obligations.
The company based in France has denied the accusation of the UK government. Dr June Raine, chief executive of the Medicines and Health Products regulatory Agency (MHRA) of the United Kingdom said, the approval has been followed by a rigorous review of the safety, effectiveness and quality of this new corona virus vaccine.
As the corona virus vaccines of Pfizer and AstraZeneca has been designed to be given as the two doses of the corona virus vaccines. Professor Sir Munir Pirmohamed from the Commission on Human Medicines said, they have now advised that, the benefit risk balance has been positive, and the corona virus vaccine has been approved for use in the people in the age group of 18 to 50 years along with the first and second doses to be taken around 28 days apart.
