This comes after the Covaxin vaccine has got the authorization for the emergency use approval from the World Health Organization (WHO), and the changes are going to come into effect at 4 am on 22nd November 2021, and this means that, the people who are inoculated with the Covaxin corona virus vaccine will not have to self-quarantine themselves after their arrival in the United Kingdom.

In October 2021, the Covishield, which is the Oxford University and AstraZeneca covid-19 vaccine produced in India had been added to the approval list of the UK government.
