UK Decreases Price for Covid-19 Tests for International Travelers

The government of the United Kingdom has now decreased the prices or cost of the novel corona virus tests for the international travelers arriving in the country from the nations listed in the amber list including India, and the prices will be decreased from 88 pounds to 68 pounds, after most of the tests represents more of the high prices of the mandatory corona virus testing.

According to the reports, the travelers coming from the green or amber list countries and if they are fully vaccinated against the novel corona virus, they are now going to pay 20 pounds less for each of the PCR covid-19 test, and the novel corona virus test must be taken on or before two days after arriving in the United Kingdom.

The travelers, who are not vaccinated against the novel corona virus returning from the amber list countries will also be seeing the prices of both the corona virus tests decreased from 170 pounds to 136 pounds, and the covid-19 will have to be taken on the days second and eighth of their arrival in the United Kingdom.

The Department of Health and Social Care (DHSC) of United Kingdom said, the reduction in the prices of the corona virus tests does not affect the travelers arriving in UK from the red list countries, and Sajid Javid, health secretary of United Kingdom has announced that, a rapid internal review of the costs that are charged by the companies approved by the government of United Kingdom after the claims from the travelers are being exploited for the private testing.
