Thoughtworks Selects Cognito as North America Agency of Record

Thoughtworks, one of the premiere technology consultancies in the world, has selected Cognito, a leading communications company for financial, technology, and professional services organizations, to represent Thoughtworks.

Cognito will be agency of record (AOR) of Thoughtworks in North America, where the senior advisors of Cognito will deliver corporate, digital, and financial communications advisory to marketing and communications teams of Thoughtworks North America, with building on momentum of its initial public offering in September 2021. This new partnership will be led by Sean McCarthy, executive vice president, and head of corporate communications for Cognito US.

Andrew Marshall, managing director and vice chairman at Cognito, said for around 30 years, Thoughtworks has been making an impact on the technology industry as company’s transition to a digital future, but Thoughtworks has done so organically.

He also said that is why they are excited to partner with them on a journey that mainly elevates their reputation, positioning them among the foremost technology consultancies in the world. The corporate communications advisors of Cognito will work closely with senior members of the management team of Thoughtworks to reinforce the thought leadership of the organization on the integration of society and technology.

Linda Horiuchi, head of global public relations at Thoughtworks, said as they moved into the next phase of their journey as a public company, and they searched for a public relations agency partner to help them plan their next step in the future.
