Black Sea Fleet, a flagship of Russia, which is a guided missile cruiser that became a ptient target of the defiance of Ukraine in the opening days of the war and the ship has sunk after it had been heavily damaged in the latest setback for the invasion of Russia.
The officials of Ukraine said that, their forces has hit the vessel with the missiles and while Russia has acknowledged a fire aboard the Moskva but no other attack, and the United States and several other Western Officials could possibly not confirm what has caused the blaze.
The loss of the warship has been a devastating symbolic defeat for Russia as the troops of Russia has been regrouping for a renewed offensive in the eastern region of Ukraine after retreating from much of the northern region of Ukraine, which is including the capital ‘Kyiv’.
Volodymyr Zelenskyy, president of Ukraine said, the people of Ukraine should be proud of having survived 50 days under the attack when Russia has given them a maximum of five and while listing the many ways, Ukraine has defended against the invasion, he also said that, those who showed that, the warships of Russia can sail away even if it has been to the bottom of the sea and it had been only his reference to the missile cruiser. The defense ministry of Russia said, the warship has sank in a storm while being towed to a port.
