WhatsApp, a messaging platform, which has been owned by Meta has been reportedly planning to introduce a new feature that will be enabling the users for searching the businesses in the nearby areas.
According to a report, WhatsApp has been developing a functionality, which will be letting the users for easily searching for the businesses in the nearby areas by filtering them with the help of using a new interface, and this feature is going to be helpful for the users for searching the groceries, hotels, clothing and apparel among the other businesses in the nearby areas.
This new feature has also been released for some of the people in the region of Sao Paulo and it is going to be available for both the users including iOS and Android. When a user search for something with the WhatsApp, there is going to be a new section, which is called as ‘Businesses Nearby’, and when the user will select the category, the results of the business accounts are going to be filtered on the choice of the users.
The company ‘WhatsApp’ has already redesigned the page of the Business Info, which was followed by the release of the WhatsApp beta for the update iOS 2.21.170.12, and the company has also introduced in a new update for the privacy of the users for the purpose of preventing the unknown contacts from seeing the online status and last seen of a particular user.
