Report: Facebook Losing its Grip as top 10 Apps in the US

TECHNOLOGY

According to a new report, Facebook, a company owned by Meta, has been struggling to maintain its position among the top 10 apps on the App Store in the United States this year. According to a new analysis of iPhone App Store data, many young consumers shift to the new social networking experiences such as TikTok.

According to the report, Facebook only decreased out of the top 10 free iPhone apps in the United States seven times. But in 2022, the figure has already decreased to 97, which is an indication that Facebook might be losing ground as new apps push their way into the top rankings of the App Store.

The app fell out of Facebook and out of the top 10 apps in the App Store just six times during the first half of 2021. In the first half of 2022, it dropped out of this grouping a total of 59 times.
