PUMA North America Selects Nedap to Launch RFID

Nedap, a leading RFID solutions provider, has been selected by PUMA North America to launch Nedap’s iD Cloud inventory visibility platform in the region. Following the success of the three-store pre-launch of Nedap, 135 PUMA stores in North America are now equipped with iD Cloud by Nedap, which allows fast and regular stock counts, smart refill suggestions, efficient replenishment, and data-driven loss prevention.

This new store solution also enables stores to have the right products available, and to provide best omnichannel customer experiences. With better stock availability, PUMA North America can offer services such as Click & Collect and Ship-From-Store more efficiently.

Russ Kahn, senior VP, North America retail at PUMA, said that the partnership with Nedap will ensure that PUMA North America is able to accelerate the flexibility and service portfolio of the company’s omnichannel business.

Russ Kahn added that RFID technology is already creating a seamless brand experience for PUMA North America across all consumer touchpoints, with stock visibility as well as circular services that allowed PUMA North America to achieve 2 percent increase in sales and replenishment.
