Netflix Increases Prices of Monthly Subscription in Canada and US

Netflix has been increasing the prices of its monthly subscription from the customers of the video streaming platform across the United States and Canada amid the increasing competition from several other streaming services such as Disney+ and HBO Max, and on Friday, 14th January 2022, the company ‘Netflix’ based in California, US, that the prices of the monthly subscription are going to be increased by 1 dollar to 2 dollar across the United States depending on the plan selected by the customers.

The most commonly used standard plan of Netflix along with a maximum of two screen allowed for streaming simultaneously is now going to be costing 15.49 dollars per month in the United States, which has been increased by 13.99 dollars.

According to the reports, the new standard plan of Netflix in the United States is now going to be costing more than Disney+ and HBO Max and HBO Max has been currently offering the annual subscription at the rate 11.99 dollars per month.

As the basic plan with one of the streaming platforms has been increasing by 1 dollar to 10 dollar, and the most expensive plan of the company, that has been enabling the four simultaneous streams has been by 2 dollar to 20 dollars.

The standard plan of Netflix in the country of Canada has also increased by similar amount in the local currency, which has been increasing from 14.99 Canadian dollars to 16.49 Canadian dollars.
