The novel corona virus vaccine of Moderna has now received the full authorization from the Food and Drug Administration of the United States, and the novel corona virus vaccine that has been called as Spikevax, has now been approved for the use in the people, who are more than 18 years of age.
The corona virus vaccine developed by Moderna is not accepted for the use in the younger people, and there has been no difference between the fully approved vaccine and the covid-19 vaccine that has been available previously through the process of emergency use authorization.
Moderna’s covid-19 vaccine has been the second covid-19 vaccine in the world for receiving full or complete approval from the FDA of the United States, and Comirnaty, corona virus vaccine of Pfizer had been accepted or authorized for the usage in the people above 16 years of age in the month of August 2021, and then corona virus vaccine developed by Pfizer has also been authorized for use in the people between the age of 5 years to 15 years.
Stephane Bancel, chief executive officer of Moderna said that, this has been a very milestone in the history of Moderna as the corona virus vaccine has been the first product of the company for achieving the licensure in the United States of America.
Stephane Bancel also said that, the complete approval of the Spikevax covid-19 vaccine in the United States is now joining the list of the countries including Canada, the UK, European Union, Israel, Japan and several other countries where the indication has been approved.
