Meta To Launch A Digital Clothing Store

The technology giant ‘Meta’ is opening an online store where all the users of Instagram, Messenger, and Facebook can possibly purchase the virtual apparel for the avatars. Mark Zuckerberg, chief executive officer of Meta has announced the opening of the Avatars Store in a post on Facebook.

Thom Browne, Prada and Balenciaga is going to be the first digital clothing brands that will be offered by Meta and the free clothing options for the avatars of Meta is still going to be available even though the prices have not been determined yet.

According to Mark Zuckerberg, the new fashion attire options have given the consumers, which is a means for expressing themselves through the avatars of the company and the company is also going to open the sale of the digital clothes in the following week.

He also said that, they are now launching their Avatars Store on Facebook, Messenger and Instagram so that, the users can purchase the digital clothes for styling their avatar. The digital goods are going to be an important way for expressing themselves in the Metaverse and a large driver of the creative economy.

Meta has also been improving the appearance of the avatars of the company in an efforts for creating the Metaverse and the company has also upgraded the avatars for Messenger and Facebook and has also added the 3D avatars to the Instagram previously this year.
