Mattel Inc. Announced Goal To Reduce Plastic Per Product By 25% By 2030

Mattel Inc. has announced a new goal for decreasing the plastic packaging by 25 percent per product by the year 2030 and this new goal has been featured in the 2021 Citizenship Report, which is providing a progress update on the ESG (Environmental, Social and Governance) strategy and the established goals of the company.

With the new packaging goal of the company, Mattel has been focused on decreasing the plastic materials from the product packaging including polybags, blister packs and window sheets as a part of the company’s packaging strategy and also reduction approach.
