L&T Technology Services Inaugurates Digital Manufacturing and Electrification Prototype Centers in the US

L&T Technology Services Limited, a leading engineering services company, announced the launch of two new design, and prototyping centers in region of Peoria, Illinois, the US, to support the digital engineering programs of the customers. The two centers of excellence (CoE) will also complements the existing flagship design center of the company in Peoria, USA.

The new centers, including 1DigitalPlace and Electricfication & Prototyping Center, will offer several services in digital manufacturing and next-generation electrification solutions across the medical, transportation, and hi-tech domains.

The 1DigitalPlace Center of Excellence leverages next-gen manufacturing technologies to enable its customers to redefine their product journeys, starting from developing concept to launch. The 1DigitalPlace Center of Excellence will help drive innovative solutions across the spectrum of digital manufacturing in areas including artificial intelligence (AI), 3-D vision systems, connected machines, and robotics.

The Electrification & Prototype center is a turnkey design facility providing services across the value chain. The center is powered by the latest in production automation technologies, and the newest CoE of LTTS is capable to enable the whole spectrum from conception through schematics to the physical prototype harness development in the test benches.

The expanded Peoria engineering hub of L&T Technology Services Limited will serve as a platform to provide services for all embedded hardware and software-based solutions that enable next-gen process analytics solutions leveraging the best of machine learning, artificial intelligence, and preventive and predictive maintenance capabilities.

John Kahl, mayor of East Peoria said that, it is heartening to see companies such as LTTS setting up their bases in the region and cementing the reputation of the region as a technology and innovation hub.
