On Tuesday, 30th November 2021, a federal judge has also issued a preliminary injunction for stopping the national vaccine mandate of Joe Biden for the healthcare workers, that had been set to start next week.
The injunction, which has been written by Judge Terry A. Doughty, which has been effectively expanding a separate order given by a federal court in Missouri, US. Judge Terry A. Doughty said, there has been no question that making a vaccine compulsory to the 10.3 million healthcare staff has been something that should have been done by the Congress, and not by a government agency, and he also said, it has been still not clear that even an action of the Congress for making the covid-19 vaccine mandatory is going to be constitutional.
Several states and cities in the United States had already imposed their very own corona virus vaccine mandates for all the healthcare workers, in an effort for controlling the outbreaks of the novel corona virus that had often been passed from the communities into the medical settings such as nursing homes etc.
The momentum for the novel corona virus vaccine mandates has gained attention during the summer season as the Delta corona virus variant had been responsible for sweeping through the nursing homes, that had been causing the increase the infections in the residents and staffs along with the hospitals in most of the states with another increase in the corona virus cases.
