IBM Plan to Acquire Dialexa to Speed Digital Innovation

IBM plans to acquire Dialexa, a US-based digital product engineering services company, to help companies drive innovation, and also achieve their digital growth agendas. This acquisition is expected to accelerate the product engineering expertise of IBM, and provide end-to-end digital transformation services for the clients.

Dialexia will be the sixth acquisition made by IBM in 2022, further bolstering the hybrid cloud technology and artificial intelligence (AI) skills and capabilities of the company. This acquisition will be the first in the fast-growing digital product engineering services market of IBM consulting, which is estimated to reach 700 billion dollars by 2026.

Dialexa will join IBM Consulting, will be responsible for advancing the digital product engineering services presence of IBM in the United States. John Granger, Senior VP, IBM Consulting, said in the new digital era, clients are looking for a mix of high-quality products to build new revenue streams, and improve topline growth. The product engineering expertise of Dialexa, combined with the hybrid cloud and business transformation offerings of IBM, will help their clients turn concepts into differentiated product portfolios that accelerate growth.
