Honda and Honda USA Foundation Launched Annual Charitable Funding Cycle

Honda and the Honda USA Foundation announced the opening of its annual funding cycle for eligible schools and non-profit organizations based on the commitment of the company to give back to the communities where its employees and associates work and live.

Applications for funding will be accepted now through October 31, 2022, with awards to be announced in 2023. Honda and the Honda USA Foundation provide funding to the national and local organizations, that provide support to communities located around Honda operations, and align with the five strategic CSR pillars of the company, including Environment, Traffic Safety, Community, Mobility, and Education.

This funding is available through both the company’s foundation and corporate. Funding opportunities from Honda will be available in all five pillars of the company, with a renewed focus on support for Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Math (STEAM) in the Education pillar.

The funding cycle is part of latest approach to Honda CSR activities that was initiated in 2021, based on the five-pillar strategy to drive the change within local communities. Through the Honda USA Foundation and Honda, the company has increased its investment to align better with Honda being a company society that wants to exist.
