HFCL Limited and Qualcomm Technologies, Inc. have partnered for the design and development of 5G millimetre wave (mmWave) FWA (Fixed Wireless Access) CPE (Customer Premise Equipment) products of HFCL Limited.
In continuation with 5G product strategy, HFCL is expanding with its 5G product portfolio by launching the production development of 5G mmWave CPE products for Indian and global markets.
Fixed Wireless Access (FWA) helps operators with a cost-effective way of delivering internet speeds wirelessly over 5G networks. FWA will also enable new business opportunities for mobile operators by allowing them to offer fixed internet broadband services to consumers, and enterprises to use their 5G network infrastructure.
The 5G mmWave product portfolio of HFCL aims to bridge the digital divide, and it will also enable telecom companies to successfully deliver broadband internet services in rural, dense urban, and suburban areas.
The 5G mmWave FWA CPE products of HFCL will support multiple spectrum bands required for the global markets. The FWA CPE products of HFCL will leverage some of the advanced features of the Qualcomm 5G Fixed Wireless Access Platform Gen 2, and Qualcomm Dynamic Antenna Steering to deliver a superior customer experience.
