GKN Aerospace Launches New Technology Center in United Kingdom

GKN Aerospace has launched an industry forum for the purpose of celebrating the opening of the company’s new Global Technology Centre (GTC) in the region of Bristol, UK, and the event, which is known as shaping a sustainable future of flight, that has been brought together in the wider aerospace industry in the United Kingdom.

Two panel discussions regarding the same had been held, which has been the first on building a much more sustainable and better-connected future of the flight and the second discussion has been on the development of the workforce of the future, and an academic zone has also been displayed as sustainable aviation solutions of the future, that were proposed by the students coming from the different universities such as UWE, Bath and the Bristol Universities.

The company ‘GKN Aerospace’ said, the company’s 10,000-squqre-meter technology center has been focusing on the sustainable aviation development and research, that has also been including the hydrogen propulsion technologies, along with the additive manufacturing and the industry 4.0 process for the purpose of enabling the high-rate production of the structures of the aircraft.

The GTC had been funded jointly by the government of United Kingdom and GKN Aerospace, through the Aerospace Technology Institute of United Kingdom, and at full capacity, the collaboration technology center is said to be hosting around 300 engineers from the company ‘GKN Aerspace’ along with the partners of the company.
