The FDA of US has now given the authorization to the booster novel corona virus vaccine developed by Moderna and Pfizer/BioNTech for the purpose of administering an additional dose in the people that are having weak immune systems, that has also been including the recipients of the organ transplant.
The third dose of the novel corona virus vaccine are going to be administered at least 28 days followed by the regimen of two doses of the came corona virus vaccine, and the booster corona virus vaccine is going to be given to all the individuals above 18 years of age, who have undergone any type of the solid organ transplantation and also who have been diagnosed with some serious conditions, which are considered to be having an equivalent level of the compromised immune system.
Janet Woodcock, acting commissioner of FDA said, the United States of America has now entered yet another wave of the novel corona virus, and the Food and Drug Administration of the United States has especially been cognizant that, the people with compromised immune system are particularly at more risk for getting a severe disease.
Janet Woodcock also said, after a completely focused review of the data available, the FDA of the United States have been able to determine that, these most vulnerable and small group might be responsible for benefiting from a third dose of the novel corona virus vaccines developed by Moderna and Pfizer/BioNTech.
