TECHNOLOGY

The dark mode interface of Facebook owned by Meta for the iOS platform has now reportedly disappeared for several users. According to the reports, the dark mode option in the Facebook for the iOS has now been disappeared without the explanation and as this is likely been a bug, the technology company has not acknowledged the issue a lifetime for a fix.

The users of Facebook have not taken to other social media platforms such as the microblogging site Twitter for the purpose of complaining around the sudden disappearance of the dark mode support. This is also including the support of Facebook for the system-wide dark mode in iOS and also the in-app dark mode toggle that has been used for being available in the settings menu of the Facebook app itself.

The report said that, this means that, not only Facebook is no longer going to respect their preferences of the system-wide mode, but there has also been no option for manually enabling the dark mode directly in the Facebook application.
