Denmark’s Christian Eriksen in Stable Condition After Collapsing on Field

Christian Eriksen, midfielder of the national football team of Denmark, had been taken to the hospital after collapsing on the field during a match against Finland at the UEFA Euro 2020, which leads to the game suspended for around two hours.

The UEFA said that, Christian Eriksen has now been stabilized in the hospital and on Sunday, 13th June 2021, the football federation of Denmark said, they have spoken to Christian Erikson, who has sent his greeting to his fellow teammates of Denmark, and his condition is now stable and will be kept in the hospital for the further examination.

Peter Moeller, director of football federation of Denmark said, Christian Eriksen got a heart massage while he was being treated on the field and Peter Moeller also said, Christian Erikson fell over and got heart massage on the football field, and fortunately he was awake, when he had left the stadium.

Christian Eriksen had been given urgent medical attention on the field for around 10 minutes after he collapsed in the first half of the game, and then he was carried out of the field on a stretcher, and the UEFA had then announced the game between Finland and Denmark had been suspended because of a medical emergency.

Peiro Volpi, physician of Inter Milan said, they are in contact with the football federation of Denmark, along with the manager of the team and the physician of Denmark’s national team, and they have heard what UEFA has said and they are all very happy that, Christian Eriksen has been stabilized in the hospital.
