Data: UK Records 16,703 New Covid-19 Cases and 21 Deaths

The government of United Kingdom has recorded another 16,703 new novel corona virus cases along with 21 covid-19 related deaths in the past 24 hours, that has been the highest number of the positive cases since 6th February 2021. as the Delta variant of the novel corona virus is spreading rapidly in the country, the 85,177 new corona virus cases this week, has been representing an increase of 45 percent over the past week.

On 25th June 2021, the Public Health England (PHE), the rates of the corona virus cases in United Kingdom among all the age groups have been continuing to increase, and the highest rate of the novel corona virus in UK has been among the age group of 20-years to 29-years, along with 268 covid-19 case per 100,000 people in the past seven days.

The separate figures of the novel corona virus cases published by the Office for National Statistics have shown that, there had been 153,000 deaths related to covid-19 registered in the United Kingdom, where covid-19 had been mentioned on the death certificate of the people.

Until now, another 207,647 people of United Kingdom has received their first dose of the covid-19 vaccine and 167,988 people have received their second dose of the vaccine, and this comes as the government of the United Kingdom has announced, wearing of masks will be compulsory in the country.

George Eustice, Environment Secretary of United Kingdom said, the government of United Kingdom had been aiming to remove all the legal requirements for wearing a face mask in most of the indoor public places on 19th July 2021.
