According to the reports, the curve of the novel corona virus cases in the United States is increasing again after months of decline, along with the number of the new covid-19 cases doubling per day over the previous three weeks. This increase in the covid-19 cases is mainly driven by the rapidly spreading delta variant of the novel corona virus, along with the lag in the covid-19 vaccination rates and gatherings on the Independence Day.

According to the data from Johns Hopkins University, on Monday, 12th July 2021, the novel corona virus infections have been increased to an average of around 23,600 cases a day, which is up from 11,300 covid-19 cases on 23rd June 2021, and on 17 days of the past 18 days, the seven day average of the novel corona virus cases had been higher than the average record of 14-days, which is suggesting that, the covid-19 cases have been increasing across the nation.
