Coronavirus Hospitalizations Increase as Delta Covid-19 Variant Spread Across US

According to the federal data, the hospitalizations related to the novel corona virus disease are now increasing continuously in the United States after a long decrease in the number of cases, and the data have also provided the evidence of the increase in the cases of Delta corona virus variants, which is taking on the unvaccinated people of United States.

According to data by the Centre for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) of US said, around 2000 new covid-19 patients had been admitted in the hospitals every day over the week, and the country has experienced 6.8 percent increase over the admissions during the past week and the country also saw an decrease of 88 percent over a seven-day average of around 16,492 patients, that had been admitted on the daily basis in the month of January 2021.

Rochelle Walensky, director of CDC said, the new novel corona virus cases are now resulting to a weekly average of 13,859 covid-19 cases recorded on 6th July 2021, which has been around an increase of 11 percent for the previous weeks average, and the two pictures of the novel corona virus pandemic have now been emerging across the United States.

Rochelle Walensky also said, there are places where the covid-19 vaccination rates are high and the new covid-19 cases and hospitalizations, along with the deaths are decreasing, there are several places in US, where majority of the population is not vaccinated and the new novel corona virus cases have also been increasing, which results in piling up the hospitals in the areas.
