Chris Hemsworth to take Time Off from Acting

Hollywood and Thor movie actor Chris Hemsworth will be taking time off from Acting, as it was discovered that Chris Hemsworth has increased the risk of developing Alzheimer’s disease because of genetic factors. The Australian actor had two copies of the gene ApoE4, which are inherited from both his parents, after undergoing several tests as part of Limitless, Chris Hemsworth’s Disney+ documentary series.

The tests has confirmed the biggest fear of Chris Hemsworth, and this shows the actor is among just 2-3 percent of the population who are around 10 times more likely to develop the Alzheimer’s disease than the people without the two copies of genes.

Chris Hemsworth said that it is not like he have been handed his resignation, working on the show, in which he tests his own body and explores different ways to live longer and healthy has really triggered something into him due to which Chris Hemsworth wants to take some time off from acting.

Chris Hemsworth continued by said that if they look at treatment for Alzheimer’s, the benefit of preventative steps is that it affected the rest of the life people live. It is also managing sleep, stress, movement, nutrition, and fitness. It is all kind of the same tools, which are needed to be applied in a consistent way.

Limitless creator Darren Aronofsky, and Peter Attia, one of the doctors on the show, discussed how the diagnosis of Chris Hemsworth would be covered, and initially, it had been the plan that Chris Hemsworth will receive all his genetic test results live to camera, but Darren Aronofsky informed the actor about the test results privately.

Chris Hemsworth was also given option to delete all references to Alzheimer’s in the show, but the actor though it was important to add his genetic details for the deteriorating the neurological condition.
