Canon U.S.A., Inc., TEKLYNX partner on Label Printing Drivers to Enhance Label Printing and Design

Canon U.S.A., Inc., a digital imaging solutions company, and TEKLYNX International, a leader in barcode label and RFID software, partner to develop new TEKLYNX native printer drivers for the on demand color label printer lineup of Canon. These new drivers will be compatible with Canon’s LX-D5500, LX-P1300, and LX-D1300 label printers.

With these drivers and TEKLYNX barcode and label design software, the Canon label printers are designed to help produce a high volume of labels for speeding up the label design, production usage, and will allow users to create unique and colourful labels easily.

The collaboration of Canon with TEKLYNX shows their commitment to their customers, and providing companies with the ability to print vivid and colourful labels efficiently and quickly, said Isao Kobayashi, general manager and senior VP, Canon U.S.A., Inc. Isao Kobayashi added that customers in different industries will be able to make good use of the TEKLYNX software with the help of these new drivers.

Travis Wayne, product manager at TEKLYNX Americas, Inc., said they with TEKLYNX barcode label design software, “what you see is what you get”, and their native embedded printer drivers print labels, which are accurate to what they see on the screen.

These drivers were created for a positive user experience, and the Canon Label printers when combined with TEKLYNX software, can help the companies in industries like packaging, manufacturing, retail, transportation, and wholesale.
