Apollo Tyres, a leading tyre manufacturing company has announced the launch of the Digital Innovation Hub in the region of London, UK. As a part of the digital strategy of the company for the purpose of implementing the industry 4.0, the new Innovation Hub is going to used artificial intelligence and machine learning technologies for the purpose of solving the complex manufacturing problems, which are focused on improving the efficiency, sustainability and quality of the manufacturing practices of the company.

This new Digital Innovation Hub is partnering with the Glasgow University and it is also implementing internship programme for the students of science, technology, math and engineering as a part of the strategy of UK government.

Neeraj Kanwar, vice chairman and managing director of Apollo Tyres Ltd. said, the London office of Apollo Tyres has been the nerve center of a global organization of 2.5 billion dollars that is impacting around 20,000 employees across the world. They also have more than 130 employees across six business organizations that are ranging from the advanced manufacturing, along with the new technologies, digital freight and artificial intelligence in the United Kingdom alone.

He also said, they have also invested 5 million pounds in the Digital Innovation Hub has is also expected for giving a fillip to the digitalization journey of the company along with several other investments in the data and cloud computing. This Digital Innovation Hub has been a result of the five-year growth plan of Apollo Tyres that is involving the significant investment in the technology and cloud infrastructure.
